Our Last Day in Nerja

Adios, Costa del Sol!

Today marked the students’ last day at our language school, Escuela de Idiomas Nerja.

Taking the karaoke stage

We celebrated in the courtyard after class, and everyone received a certificate of completion. Last night, we celebrated with a perfect group outing: we sang karaoke. There were a few brave souls who got up on stage to sing a solo, and even our fearless leader, Patricia, got up to belt out a tune. Of course, it would have not been a proper karaoke evening without the entire group joining together for a rendition of “Don’t Stop Believing'” by Journey. It was a great last evening!

Next stop, Seville!

It’s an early morning tomorrow, as we’re catching our bus to Seville at 7:00 am to go meet our host families. Everyone is excited about this upcoming week and the chance to live with a Spanish family!

Until next week!
