Today we arrived in Granada! We started with a tour of the Alhambra! After many photos we headed down to the barrio de Albaicín where the girls bought many pairs of Spanish pants and souvenirs! Afterwards we walked through some very narrow streets towards our fondue restaurant! From here our tour guide picked us up to take us to the flamenco cave show!

It was quite a full day and we are all looking forward to hitting the beach tomorrow in Nerja!

Agur/Adiós San Sebastián

Today we said our goodbyes to our incredible host families in San Sebastián! As we headed to our flight from Bilboa to Sevilla we shared lots of stories and photos! But, the photos say it all! Enjoy….

Salamanca Thursday Day 12

We started out our afternoon by determining the scavenger hunt winners! There were some difficult questions that were answered by all and some fun photos to top it off! But Rachel, Kylie, and Brigid had the most points and received the winning keychain prize!

After lunch we met up to go paddle boating on the Tormes River. The view of the cathedral and bridges is spectacular! We also got a chance to improve our tans.

Later we taught some of the group how to play a typical Spanish card game called Escoba! We are preparing them as much as possible for their host family experience coming up on Sunday!

Wednesday July 8th

Today after classes we headed over to Parc Phoenix. It was awesome! We spent the day with tropical birds, insects and plants along with many other kinds of exotic wildlife. The peacocks were the star of the show and the bat cave made us cringe!

After dinner we went out for gelato and danced salsa and merengue in the Place Garibaldi along with a live band and hundreds of locals… everyone had a blast!

Looking forward to our trip to Ville Franche tomorrow!

After stopping at Fennochio’s for some cactus gelato (yum!), we hopped
on the train touristique and made our way through Vieux Nice and up
through the mountains to take in Nice’s most picturesque view, Quelle
